Yacht Interior Design - Charleston Harbor Awaits!
What a great project! When this client came to us, they needed a complete refit (glow up!) for a vessel they had just purchased that they wanted to use for a luxury boat Charter here in Charleston. And when we say ‘refit,’ we mean redone from bow to stern. We love Yacht Interior Design and have been doing it for years – if experience is what you’re looking for, we have it in spades!
When my team and I stepped aboard, we could see the potential right away. The bones were there, but the yacht needed a fresh, elevated design to make it shine here in Charleston’s beautiful waters. More and more mega yachts are finding a new home here in one of the oldest port cities of the US and we love that!
We started our design scheme reboot with a complete overhaul of the galley kitchen. We updated its design to be more updated and functional for life on board and gave it a sleek, sophisticated look that feels right at home in the Southeast. New quartz countertops for the galley and bar, and brass sink basins and faucets imported from Turkey on the cooking side.
Next, we turned our attention to the staterooms, creating custom bedscapes…elegant and cozy spaces perfect for relaxation after a day out on the water. Even overnight getaway staycation moments are available at a moment’s notice! From new cushions, decor, and window treatments to smart storage solutions, every detail was designed to blend luxury with practicality.
And here’s a fun twist: this yacht has a starring role on the set of ‘Outer Banks’ on Netflix!
So, of course, we wanted to make sure every space looked camera-ready while still being entirely livable for the owners and any guests joining the party.

With Charleston’s salty air and sun-drenched days, our upper deck and sky lounge areas were outfitted with carefully selected marine-grade materials that will withstand the elements while maintaining the approachable elegance our clients love.
Plus, we make it all look like a gorgeous living space to entertain in…you won’t want to leave.
A custom teak table with a marquetry compass inlaid on the top? You bet!
Customization is always front and center, from inlaid wood specialty items like tables and furnishings, monograms, anyone? For me and my team, this project was all about giving the client a yacht that feels like a true extension of their lifestyle, relaxed, refined, and ready for every adventure the Charleston coast has to offer!
