Home office design ideas are at the top of our minds these days given how many of us are still working from home, sweet friends! With that in mind, I wanted to curate a few pieces that I wouldn’t mind being a part of my own home office design! I have selected quality pieces that will serve you well for years to come. I am a firm believer in choosing pieces that will last. If you love it, why not love it for longer, right?! Let’s take a look, shall we?!
First up, you need a beautiful desk that has some storage! I am in love with this partner’s desk so much! It is modern, has crisp lines and the cane front drawers are the icing on the cake. I know I might be in the minority here, but I am not a huge proponent of a standard desk chair in my home office. I will always choose something beautiful but comfortable. Insert Parson’s Chair here! I also love that this one is slipcovered. If I spill my coffee it is an easy fix!
I need great lighting while I work, so an interesting table lamp for the desk is a must! I love the texture on this beauty. In keeping with the textured theme, I thought a chandelier with some texture would also be a nice break from a bit of the glitz and glam I’m seeing in a lot of light fixtures! A stunning area rug underfoot never hurt anyone either! Just look at this beauty!!
Do you struggle with storage in your office? Of course I found a great solution for this in case you were worried! A statement etagere will do the trick. I love the clean lines of this one, accentuated by the antique gold finish. Do not let the glass shelves scare you. This bookshelf is constructed of iron and tempered glass, so they’ll hold your printer (or tv) with no problem! Fill your walls with artwork that inspires you! After all, you’re likely spending a chunk of time in those four walls these days….you’ll be traveling again sooooon!
Since Cindy in admin isn’t around to make sure you’re supplied with everything you need, don’t forget to get your office essentials. You’ll need a pen holder and a stapler, to name a few things. Last but not least, you will need a great planner to keep your days organized and on track! I love the blue, Y’all!
See, isn’t home office design fun?! It may not seem like a room that can be made beautiful, a little sassy, and functional, but I beg to differ. I’ve So enjoyed curating this shoppable home office design board for you! If you find that you need some guidance in planning your home office, I am always happy to help! Until next time, sweet friends…
