6 Front Doors We’re Loving

Hey, sweet friends! The air is thick and OH SO WARM here…and our current project is none other than….our front door! Let me tell you. It is turning out NIIIIICCCEEEEE, if I do say so myself! 😉 We have been on the prowl for a ‘new’ -read old- front door for quite some time, and we finally hit the jackpot with a gem from the 1850s in Downtown Charleston! Of course, I have been putting my painter’s touch on it, giving it all the love it deserves, and it is not disappointing me! If you follow along on Instagram/Facebook (if you don’t, please do), you got an itty bitty sneak peek recently, but once you see the whole exterior reveal before and after, you’ll probably find yourself saying, “Shut the front door!” Yes, pun intended… 😉

Your front door is your statement moment, your way of letting the world know what you and your house are about! Don’t get me wrong. We LOVE a Traditional door set up around these parts…there is something stately yet calming about a beautiful entry. You know what you’re walking into. And then there is the statement door, and let’s just say you had me at color! Whether it’s fresh, spunky, intriguing, stately, or completely unexpected and exciting… almost like you’re not quite sure what you’re going to walk into but cannot wait to find out! We’ll let you guess which route we’ve gone!!!

Without further ado, to tide you over until ours is ready for its debut, here are some examples of Lowcountry front doors that we are digging for you to drool over!
