Michelle Woolley Sauter was approached for this interior design project to bring the mountains and the beach to this North Carolina home, a couple of hour’s drive from both the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Outer Banks.
The natural stone fireplace is an important focal point and theme element in this space located in the Sand Hills of North Carolina. A relaxed beach theme is accented throughout the space orchestrated by faded light blue lanterns, a teal accent pillow, designer accessories, sand colored walls, and whitewashed horizontal blinds. Taken in with natural sunlight from full length windows you can almost hear the ocean waves.
Custom pieces by Michelle were selected to accent earth tones, as well as a palette of sand and sky colors.
